Salon Interlude
A carefully balanced composition anchors the space: two sculptural and soft armchairs and sofa, and a low table arranged in quiet dialogue.
Walls in warm, textured plaster meet the softness of fabric and the depth of wood, while subtle brass details catch and diffuse the daylight.
Each element contributes to a measured harmony, where no object stands alone — everything participates in a collective stillness.
The chandelier floats like a delicate constellation above the scene, introducing levity and rhythm to the grounded material palette.
Artworks punctuate the space with silent presence, extending the dialogue between material and emotion.
Here, comfort is not decorative but structural — embedded in the proportion, light, and tactility of the room.
Salon Interlude becomes a pause within the city’s pace — a space where light, texture, and silence converge to create a moment of measured calm.
Salon Interlude explores proportion, material balance, and the tactile character of space. Defined by soft volumes and precise detailing, the room combines sculptural furniture with an understated architectural presence.
The project reinterprets the classical idea of the salon — a place for conversation, art, and contemplation — as a calm, contemporary environment defined by proportion and restraint.
